Varietals, Vineyard & Harvest: 100% Merlot, clone 343, grown and hand-harvested at Black Bank Hill on 28 October 2021.

Winemaking:  Hand-sorted, destemmed and lightly crushed prior to being vinified by natural fermentation. Barrel-aged 17-months in largely neutral French oak and blended for bottling. Estate-bottled unfiltered and unfined on 3 May 2023.

Wine Description: An expressive and floral nose wild bramble, dark cherry and strawberry lead to a medium-bodied palate of ripe plum, dark red fruit, graphite, anise, clove and tobacco with medium tannins, balanced acidity, and a long finish.

Acidity & pH:  TA 5.80 g/L, pH 3.39

Sweetness: Fully dry on the palate containing 1.89 g/L residual sugar

Alcohol by Volume: 12.9%
