
2022 Viognier

Varietals, Vineyard & Harvest: 100% estate-grown Viognier, clones 642 and 1042, hand-harvested on 11 October 2022 at 23.4 brix.
Winemaking: Processing began with careful hand-sorting before the clusters were added to the basket press. The juice was transferred, unsettled directly to a second use French oak barrel where it fermented naturally for 28 days. Aging lasted 17.5 months before the wine was transferred to tank, filtered and bottled 26 July 2024.
Wine Description: A classic, aromatic, Viognier nose of peach, nectarine, clementine and white flowers give way to a delicious array of marmalade, ginger and candied lime, a creamy mid-palate, finishing with notes of white pepper, clove and cinnamon on the long and luscious palate.
Acidity & pH: 5.72 g/L TA; pH 3.36
Sweetness: Fully dry with 2.1 g/L residual sugar
Alcohol by Volume: 14.4%
